I can't crack 6 seconds, and my average is about 8, but I haven't *really* applied myself--I have yet to go an entire round without making a mistake. Ask me in a few hours; maybe I'll have a tigher "personal best" by then.
7.453 on my first try...6.578...6.578 again...5.813!! let's see how much lower I can get. oh, this is going to be a problem when studying for finals...
*ahem* my new lowest score is 4.438 seconds. this is really, really unfortunate because I'm not going to rest (or finish reading my case) until I get under 4. darn you, kat!
mwahahahaha... I got down to 5-something, but I've got too much studying to do tonight to work on it any more. Once I finish my final tomorrow, though, I *know* I'm not going to want to do anything else for the rest of the day, so alphabet test, here I come!
and now I have to stop. what method do you reckon works best? I found I was basically using both index fingers and *maybe* my middle finger for the O-P combination. and I'll definitely need to practice the last four letters -- W, X, Y and Z are really inconveniently placed. oh, this is bad...I did NOT need to know this existed.
oh, wow. I'd just been using all 8 fingers, as though I were typing any ol'thing. (I now know that I tend to screw up the "c," and then that generally sinks the whole darn thing.) I ought to try your method... but NOT NOW. Tomorrow, though, for sure.
Oh, and in a not-very-remarkable coincidence, the professor for whose class I'm studying at the mo' just sent an email to his students asking if we had any opinions about what type of laptop to purchase for his son. You can bet (tomorrow) I'll caution him against buying a Dell, but I feel as though the weight of the majority is against me. Alas.

btw, I'm down to 3.422 seconds. this is better than freecell. but have you watched the top-ten videos? they're SCARY. I don't know how they do it.
