Okay friends, I feel so lost and depressed. Please offer advice:
What should I do with the rest of my life?
There's part of me that almost wants to say, "Tell me what to do and I will commit to it for at least a year and if it's horrible, at least I'll probably be able to write a book about it."
But I'm feeling like everyone is on the path to massive success except me. Help!

are you looking for something to do in place of the div degree, or something to do afterwards? I'll think and help you brainstorm tomorrow, but I need parameters!
and I'm flattered that you think I'm on the road to *any* kind of success -- the only massive thing I can see from here (chuckle) is the amount of money I'll need to pay the government once I graduate, and it's not like high-paying, life-fulfilling jobs are a given for new MBAs...I already envy my i-banking classmates, who will likely return to school in the fall with full-time offers in hand and the promise of fat paychecks for the forseeable future...but then I remember that they have to work as i-bankers and it feels a little better :-P
Yeah, ditto here -- I will be happy to help tomorrow when we are face-to-face, which I think will be more useful.
MJ, who also seriously doubts that he is on the fast track to anywhere except Gray-Hairsville, USA
yeah, what ericat13 said: just because I'm in professional school doesn't mean I'm on the road to massive success. I might be, if I knew for sure what I wanted out of my law degree... but I don't think I do. Yet? Maybe my work next summer will help? But I have to survive the hell that is OCI first, so there aren't any guarantees at this moment. I know exactly what you're dealing with, though--I often wonder if I'm making the right choice with law school. My hope is that whether I'm working in a firm or doing something entirely different with my law degree I'll be happy, though it might take some serious trial and error before I get to that point. But regardless, we're all still young enough yet that no career choice has to be permanent if we don't want it to be. I will say, though, that if you're not at least 75% sure that some aspect of law is what you want to do, don't bother with law school, as it's a) expensive and b) REALLY stressful at times, and if the end result isn't going to be something that you'll love, firm or otherwise, you're better off doing something else. At least, until you figure things out a little more. Which you will, because you're a talented, capable person who's just a little confused right now, like so many of us.
and I'll buy your book, I promise. :D
