I highly, highly, highly recommend Nick Hornby's new book, Long Way Down, and commend it to your summer reading list. It was so hysterical! I was laughing out loud on the beach. Get thee to the bookstore!

can I borrow your copy sometime this summer? I can't buy any more new books -- packing up my bookcase this weekend was kind of painful because I have SO MANY BOOKS. oh, including a book that I think I borrowed from you at least a year ago -- "who wrote the bible" or something like that? I'll make sure to hand that to you the next time I see you...
Maybe we can do a book swap--I don't have Long Way Down, but I have a couple by him (Songbook and The Polysyllabic Spree) that I hope to read this summer. I *heart* Nick Hornby.
