you know how the big joke about the crocodile hunter was that one of these days he would get too close to a croc and that would be the final episode of the show?
uh, well, it happened. only it was a freak acccident with a stingray.

Anyway, I heard about this last night before I went to bed & it really made me sad. Just serves as a powerful reminder that we can't not die in a freak stingray-fight accident.
oops! just saw where you scooped me on your blog. sorry about that. but still -- the crocodile hunter! how sad that he should meet his end in a freak accident, not in a heroic stand-off against a herd of stampeding crocodiles, which is kind of how I'd imagined his demise. crikey, indeed.
scooped? nah, just staying up too late. I say, the more monuments to the late, great Croc Hunter, the better.
