I've never been one to thoroughly scour the NY times wedding announcements, but it was brought to my attention that one of my current classmates was in last weekend's edition, *and* her qualifications were impressive enough to win a celebrity blog's announcement-ranking game. ick.

Yeah, our family knew a couple profiled in the NY Times.
They got divorced.

...but seriously, is this our future? I have no intention of being listed in any wedding column, much less the NYT one, but I hadn't quite registered how elitist our collective pedigrees sound. are people forever going to find out we went to an ivy-league university and think, "two points"? ugh.
