look, man, I'm on break, enjoying the rainy weather in lovely southwestern Ohio and watching the finales for TV shows I haven't watched all season, courtesy of my mother. I have no time for such "entertainment" nonsense.
I do think we need to nail down a CEDARPOINT OMG weekend, but I'm not sure we can do that with Dani out of the country (aye caramba!). Can we at least choose a month? Are we still thinking June? anyone?
hey kids -- can I request july? I worry that june will be overrun with festival of arts & ideas stuff for work, and I won't really know my schedule until my job gets going. will keep you all posted, but in the meantime I will commit to july...
ok, then if it's july, I request either the weekend of the 1st or the 8th, so I have a little time to recover pre-FRFF. anyone else have any preferences?
I vote the weekend of the 8th, for two reasons, one practical and one selfish:
1) The weekend of the 1st is also most proximate to the 4th of July, which means everybody and their mom will probably be taking a 4-day weekend and traveling e.g. to CEDARPOINT OMG. So we will probably not exactly have either the parks or the roads to ourselves.
2) TMBG is playing for free at Mohegan Sun on July 1 and I would like to go.
I REFUSE to have any part in causing someone to miss TMBG (and for free, no less!). I say we aim for the 8th unless anyone has a reeeeally good reason not to.
